• Never send advance deposits, booking fees, or shipping payments via mobile money (M-Pesa) before physically verifying the item.

• Arrange to meet in well-lit, busy public locations such as shopping centers, petrol stations, or near bank branches.

• Avoid meeting in secluded locations, private residences, or late at night.

• Whenever possible, bring a friend or relative along with you.

3. Beware of Common Scams

• Unrealistic Prices: If an item (e.g., iPhone, car, or laptop) is priced far below market value, treat it with caution.

• Deposit Requests: Be wary of sellers who claim they have multiple buyers waiting and demand an M-Pesa deposit to "hold" the item for you.

• Fake Payment Receipts: Sellers should verify their mobile money balances directly through official SMS or app channels—do not rely solely on screenshots or SMS forwards provided by buyers.

4. Protect Your Personal Information

• Avoid sharing sensitive personal information such as bank PINs, national ID numbers, or account passwords.

• Use Kencart’s messaging system or direct contact numbers listed on the platform for communication.

5. Report Fraudulent Ads Immediately

If you suspect an ad is fraudulent, fake, or violates our policies, click the "Report Ad" button located on the listing page, or email us directly at admin@kencart.com with the ad link.
